If they had healing powers they would have been playing the role of a very different type of support.
3 John. “Walk in Truth”
Read 3 John 1:1–11. Write a brief comparison between the actions of Gaius and Diotrephes. Read the institute student manual Points to Ponder section, “Disobedience to Priesthood Authority” (p. 441). List some of the results that come to those who criticize the leaders of the Church. Read Alma 39:11. What influence could Gaius’s and Diotrephes’s examples have on others?
- Gaius was accepting of the brethren, and had a strong testimony of their office as priesthood leaders. Diotrephes would not receive the brethren, and cast out anyone who would follow them.
- Those who criticize the leaders of the church demonstrate a spiritual illness within. If they don’t remedy those feelings it could lead to their spiritual destruction.
- It can set a negative precedent that could harm the testimony of others.
The last comic was uploaded as a JPEG, and it looks like it’s visible on smartphones now. I guess smartphones don’t like GIFs, even though I read that GIFs work best on the computer. I was considering going back and reloading all the comics as JPEGs, but the task seemed too monumental at this stage, so I decided to just upload my new comics in JPEG format.
I’ve been trying to find ways to promote Plunder, and I just recently got it listed on webcomicz.com. I need your help. Right now I’m at the end of the popularity line, but you would go and vote for my comic then I would rise in the rankings. Follow the link below and then scroll down and vote.
I’ve been trying to smooth out the look of the comic, and things are progressing. I started scanning my drawings in color, and then selecting the darker tones and converting them to black. Now my lines are sharper and not so pixelated. I’m still trying to find the balance in uploading my art, so that it looks smooth on the web.
